Hammer Run is a really special alternative to today’s very spinning skateboard-running shoes hybrid craze. Suprat has been considered a “trendsetter” brand since its inception, as evidenced by the fact that while other skateboarding companies have only recently been trying to introduce running shoe-like pieces, Supra has been on the market for years with its Owen model. This provided an excellent foundation for the Hammer Run, for which the super-comfortable and featherweight SupraFoam sole was lifted from Owen, complemented by Jim Greco’s hallmarked Hammer clean upper. The end result of the mix was an unadulterated sneaker, which is a must-see for skateboarders as an “after skate” model, and for shoe enthusiasts as a summer partying, running step.
